Alumni Winter Term Scholarship 2019

With this scholarship, you could earn up to $1,000 toward an MBA, cybersecurity master's degree, or cloud computing master's degree. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. Scholarship

The Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. Scholarship is offered to a member of an underserved population. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

JBLM Graduate Scholarship

The JBLM Graduate Scholarship aims to lower tuition costs for active-duty servicemembers and their spouses and dependents who qualify for UMUC's graduate military tuition rate and enroll in hybrid courses in the Master of Science in management at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. The scholarship is worth up to $1,371 toward core coursework in the program. No minimum GPA is required.

Maryland Completion Scholarship

The Maryland Completion Scholarship offers Maryland community college graduates the opportunity to earn a bachelor's degree for $12,000 or less. A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.

Nan Lee Roberts Scholarship

The Nan Lee Roberts Scholarship is available to outstanding students participating in UMUC's Reverse Transfer Program. To be eligible, a candidate must have transferred to UMUC from a Maryland community college. The scholarship is worth up to $1,000 for 6 credits. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

Pillars of Strength Scholarship Program

The Pillars of Strength Scholarship Program provides up to five scholarships—which include full tuition, fees, and course-required resources—for caregivers of recovering servicemembers or veterans. No minimum GPA is required.

UMUC Foundational Scholarships

This is a pool of more than 100 scholarships for current UMUC students. The scholarships are administered by the UMUC Office of Financial Aid. UMUC may invite students who meet eligibility requirements to complete the application to be considered for the scholarship pool. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

UMUC NE Tri-State Scholarship

If you're a Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or Delaware resident, you could earn more than $9,000 toward a bachelor's degree with this scholarship. You must provide official transcripts showing at least 30 semester hours of transferable college credit.

UMUC President's Scholarship

The President's Scholarship is awarded to a limited number of high-achieving students based on merit. There is no application process. A minimum GPA of 3.75 is required for consideration.

UMUC-NMFA Scholarship for Military Spouses

With the UMUC-NMFA Scholarship for Military Spouses, you could earn up $1,500 through the National Military Family Association. The scholarship is available to new students seeking a bachelor's degree in spring 2019.

Veterans Assistance Fund - Graduate

The Veterans Assistance Fund is designed to help student veterans at UMUC. Awards cover costs related to education when Federal financial aid and VA benefits are unavailable or exhausted. Awardees may receive up to $3,000 per year. A minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.

The Veterans Assistance Fund is designed to help student veterans at UMUC. Awards cover costs related to education when Federal financial aid and VA benefits are unavailable or exhausted. Awardees may receive up to $3,000 per year. A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.

Veterans of Afghanistan and Iraq Conflicts Scholarship Program

This scholarship program is designed to provide financial assistance to members of the U.S. Armed Forces who served in Afghanistan or Iraq and their spouses and dependents. Applicants must be Maryland residents and full-time or part-time undergraduate students at UMUC. The scholarship is worth up to 50 percent of tuition and fees. No minimum GPA is required.
