LEO: How Do I - Manage a Grade Scheme

The following steps will guide you through on how to manage a grade scheme. This includes editing a grade scheme, setting a default grade scheme, copying a grade scheme and deleting a grade scheme.

Edit A Grade Scheme:

  1. From the Course Home page, click the My Tools drop down menu and select Grades
  2. Click the tab, Schemes.
  3. Click the Scheme Name of the scheme you want to edit. 
  4. You will have the option to edit the Scheme NameShort Name, and Ranges
  5. Click Save and Close

Note: You cannot edit some of the properties of a grade scheme if a Selectbox grade item is using it.

Set A Default Grade Scheme:

  1. From the Course home page, click the My Tools drop down menu and select Grades
  2. Click the tab, Schemes
  3. Click the check mark in the Set As Default column next to the applicable scheme. 
  4. Confirmation pop-up will display; click Yes
Copy A Grade Scheme:
  1. From the Course Home page, click the My Tools drop down menu and select Grades
  2. Click the tab, Schemes.
  3. Click More Actions and select Copy from the drop down menu. 
  4. Select the appropriate grade scheme to copy.
  5. At the bottom of the page, enter the New Scheme Name
  6. Click Copy.
Delete A Grade Scheme:
  1. From the Course Home page, click the My Tools drop down menu and select Grades.
  2. Click the tab, Schemes
  3. Click More Actions and select Delete from the drop down menu. 
  4. Select the check box next to the grades you want to delete.
  5. Click Delete
  6. Confirmation pop-up will display; click Delete
Note: You cannot delete a grade scheme that is in use.
