Consortium Agreement: What is the Home Institution versus the Host Institution and what is a Consortium Agreement Contract?

The Home institution is the school from which you will receive financial aid and the school where you are considered "degree seeking."

The Host institution is the school where you temporarily take courses for credit, which will be transferred back to the Home institution. Students do not receive financial aid from the Host school and are not considered "degree seeking" at this school.

The Home ID and Host ID are the student's ID numbers at their home/host school. For example, a University of Maryland University College student's Home ID would be their 7-digit EMPL ID.
