VA Benefits: Disenrollment of Veterans for Non-Payment if Using the Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)

Question: Will veterans be dropped from class for non-payment if they are using the Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)?

Answer: Students who have submitted a Request for Certification in their MyUMUC portal will have a non-disenrollment hold (VAH indicator) placed on their account for the term. This will prevent students from being dropped from their courses. Active duty military students receiving the military tuition rate are also protected from disenrollment. This can be confirmed by contacting Military and Veterans Advising at 800-888-UMUC (8682).
