Waldorf Center for Higher Education

University of Maryland University College (UMUC) offers classes and services at the Waldorf Center for Higher Education. This comprehensive education center serves transfer students from the College of Southern Maryland and local military and civilian students who need advising or other student services. 

Located in the heart of Waldorf, Maryland, the center is easily accessible from Routes 5 and 301, and offers an ideal learning environment for students who live or work in Southern Maryland.

Placement Testing

Members of the military and the civilian community with base access may take placement tests at this location for writing and math courses. Please call to schedule an appointment.
