CACI International Announces New Education Alliance with UMUC

January 18, 2012

UMUC recently signed an agreement with CACI International—a provider of cybersecurity services and solutions to the federal government—to offer undergraduate- and graduate-level cybersecurity education to CACI employees.
CACI employees can use the company’s tuition reimbursement program to study cybersecurity at UMUC or enroll in any of the university’s other academic programs. Also, under the CACI–UMUC education alliance, employees, dependents, and spouses who are not Maryland residents and do not qualify for in-state tuition rates may qualify for a tuition discount on out-of-state rates for many graduate and undergraduate programs.
According to CACI President Dan Allen, the alliance gives CACI employees an “excellent opportunity to gain essential skills in cybersecurity that will help them advance in their careers. In turn, they will be better equipped to help our clients address their most critical challenges in countering evolving cyber threats to our nation's security.”
UMUC President Susan C. Aldridge said, “Our education alliance with CACI is an ideal fit, given UMUC’s mission of serving adult students and offering top-quality programs that meet workforce needs in Maryland, across the country, and around the world. We look forward to providing CACI employees with cutting-edge education that will enhance their careers and provide high-value cybersecurity solutions for CACI’s clients.”
